Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
MENUSIGN ("we", "our", or "us") provides digital signage tools for managing menu content on connected TV displays. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process and why.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data such as name, email address, and organization details.
- Device and screen pairing data (for example, TV device identifiers and screen assignments). Our Fire TV app identifies devices using an ID derived from the Fire TV's Android ID, prefixed
FIRETV-. - Playlist and media metadata required to deliver scheduled content.
- Service usage and operational logs for reliability, security, and support.
2. Our Fire TV App (Amazon Appstore)
Our Fire TV app, available through the Amazon Appstore, is a display-only player for restaurants, cafes, and retail counters. It requests only internet access on your device — no camera, microphone, contacts, or location.
When you pair a Fire TV using the 6-digit code from your MENUSIGN dashboard, we assign it a device identifier derived from the Fire TV's Android ID (prefixed FIRETV-) and link it to the screen you paired it with. The app caches your screen's playlist and media locally so it keeps playing through brief network interruptions, and periodically checks in with our servers so your dashboard can show whether the screen is online.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide and maintain the MENUSIGN platform.
- To pair screens and deliver playlist content to connected players.
- To monitor uptime, diagnose issues, and prevent abuse.
- To communicate important service and account updates.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share data with service providers that help us host, secure, and operate the platform, subject to contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal data. You may also have rights to object to or restrict processing.
7. Contact
